Privacy policy
Last updated:
This policy explains what personal data Amaze handles when you visit this website or write to us, why we use it, and what rights you have over it.
Data controller
The controller of your data on this website is Asombro Extremo LLC (the Amaze brand).
Asombro Extremo LLC, 835 NW 62nd Street, Miami, Florida 33150, USAFor anything related to privacy, including exercising your rights, write to [email protected]. It’s our only contact for these matters.
This policy covers the data we handle through this website. The campaigns we run for our clients are governed by what we agree with each one.
What data we handle
If you write to us through the contact form
The data you give us in the contact form is:
- your name;
- your work email;
- your company (optional);
- how you prefer to start, from the options we offer;
- your message (optional); and
- the privacy checkbox, which you check in order to send the form.
If you accept analytics
If you accept “Analytics” in the cookie notice, Google Analytics receives data about your visit, such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, your approximate location, and how you reached the website. It links that data to pseudonymous identifiers stored in its cookies. Without your consent, Google Analytics doesn’t load.
We also measure visits with Plausible, a tool we host on our own server (analytics.weareamaze.app). It uses no cookies or persistent identifiers and only counts visits in aggregate.
Technical connection data
Like any website, the server that hosts this one receives your IP address and other technical details of the connection. It needs them to deliver the pages to you and keep them secure.
What we use it for
- We use the form data only to reply to you: to answer your message, to write to you to set up a first call, and, if a business relationship comes out of it, to take care of it.
- We use measurement data to see how many people visit the website and which pages they read, so we can improve it.
- We use the technical connection data to deliver the pages to you and keep them secure.
Legal basis
- Contact form: your consent, which you give by checking the privacy checkbox, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us.
- Google Analytics: your consent, which you give by accepting “Analytics” in the cookie notice. You can withdraw it at any time, and doing so doesn’t affect what we did before.
- Plausible and technical connection data: our legitimate interest in understanding, in aggregate, how the website is used and in keeping it secure.
How long we keep it
We keep the form data for as long as we need to reply to you and to handle any relationship that follows. After that, we keep it blocked, meaning stored and unused, for as long as liabilities could still be claimed. When that period ends, we delete it.
Measurement data is kept for as long as we need to analyze how visits change over time. Cookies have their own duration, which we list in the cookie policy.
Who we share your data with
We don’t sell or rent your personal data. We share it only in these cases:
- with providers that supply services we need for this website and to reply to you, such as hosting, email, and work tools, and that handle the data on our instructions;
- with Google, if you accept “Analytics,” for measurement with Google Analytics;
- with public authorities and agencies, when the law requires it; and
- in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, if personal data needs to be disclosed to the other party.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Asombro Extremo LLC is based in the United States, and some of our providers, such as Google, handle data outside the European Economic Area. When that happens, we do it with the safeguards that data protection law requires.
Your rights
You can exercise these rights over your data:
- Access: find out what data of yours we handle and get a copy.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data.
- Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Restriction: ask us to stop using your data in the cases the law provides for.
- Portability: receive the data you gave us in a commonly used format, or ask us to send it to another organization.
- Withdrawing consent: at any time, without affecting earlier processing. For analytics, you can also do it from “Manage cookies” in the page footer.
To exercise them, write to [email protected] and say which right you want to exercise. We may ask you to verify your identity.
Supervisory authority
If you think we haven’t handled your data as we should, you can file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country. In Spain, that’s the Spanish Data Protection Agency (https://www.aepd.es). If you prefer, write to us first and we’ll look into it with you.
Cookies
We use one first-party cookie to remember your choice about analytics and, only if you accept, Google Analytics cookies. The cookie policy explains them one by one and tells you how to change your choice.
Minors
This website is intended for adults. If you think a minor has sent us their data, write to us and we’ll look into it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date above shows when it was last revised. If a change is significant, we’ll announce it prominently on this website.
