This page explains which cookies and similar technologies the Amaze website uses, what each one is for, and how you can control them.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser to remember something between one visit and the next, such as a preference. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, do a similar job.
What we use on this website
These are the cookies on this website:
| Name | Set by | What it’s for | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
cookie_consent_prefs |
Amaze (first-party) | Remembers whether you accept or reject analytics | Necessary | One year |
_ga |
Google Analytics | Tells visitors apart using a pseudonymous ID | Analytics (only if you accept) | Two years |
_ga_PMJ4DVPF2T |
Google Analytics | Maintains the state of the visit | Analytics (only if you accept) | Two years |
Analytics cookies are only set if you accept “Analytics” in the cookie notice. If you reject it, or haven’t chosen yet, Google Analytics doesn’t load.
“Necessary” means the website needs the cookie to remember your choice. Among cookies, it’s the only one stored without you accepting “Analytics.”
Local storage
Besides cookies, the website saves one item in your browser’s local storage:
amaze-idioma: stored by Amaze, it remembers the language you pick with the “English” or “Español” link. It doesn’t expire, and you can delete it from your browser.
Plausible
We measure visits in aggregate with Plausible, a tool we host on our own server (analytics.weareamaze.app). It uses no cookies or persistent identifiers, so it doesn’t appear in the table.
How to change your choice
You can change your choice about analytics whenever you like. Press this button to reopen the cookie notice. You’ll also find it as “Manage cookies” in the page footer.
How to delete cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies and site data from its privacy settings. If you delete them, this website will ask you about analytics again the next time you visit, and the home page will pick the language from your browser again.
If you block all cookies, the website keeps working, but it won’t be able to remember your choice.
More information
To learn how we handle your data, read the privacy policy. If we change the cookies this website uses, we’ll update this page and its date.
